Meet Our Team

Our Front Desk Team

	Nancy has been working with us for 49 years. She worked as a dental assistant for 15 years and as an administrative assistant for the last 34 years. Nancy has 2 children and 4 grandchildren. She enjoys being active in her church and spending time with family.
	Sarah graduated from Florence Darlington Tech as a dental assistant but found she enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the front desk better. She has worked with us here as an administrative assistant for 26 years. She enjoys church, crafts, and decorating. Sarah is married with 2 daughters, 2 grandsons and 2 granddaughters.
	Mona has been with our office since 1985, first as a dental hygienist and now as office manager. She enjoys spending time with family and likes to have a good book to read.

Our Dental Hygienists

	Tamera has been a registered dental hygienist for 21 years. She has been working for our office since 2001. She enjoys spending time with her family.
	Tiphaine was born in California but has called the Charleston area home since she was very young. After graduating from the Trident Dental Assisting Program in 2010, she then went on to obtain her RDH License. Tiphaine’s favorite parts of her job are polishing your smile and making patients feel welcomed. She resides in Moncks Corner with her husband and two children.

Our Dental Assistants

Elainey was Certified by the Palmetto School as a dental assistant in 2017. She started her career in pediatric dental care. Elainey joined our team in 2021. Her bubbly, gentle and easy-going spirit has been welcomed by patients and our dental team. She loves to travel and spend time with family in her spare time.

Tonya has been a dental assistant since 1991 and has been with us since 2000. Tonya states that her passion for dentistry is driven by her love for patients and the opportunity dentistry gives her to build a relationship that makes a difference in peoples lives. She believes a beautiful smile makes such a difference in how a person feels and the confidence they have. Tonya is married and has 2 daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family.

Jennifer has been with our practice since March 2021 as a dental assistant. She has worked in the dental field for 20 years. Jennifer enjoys the teamwork at our office and is dedicated to patient care. At our practice, she works alongside Dr. Powell to assist in many restorative procedures. She ensures that our patients feel comfortable throughout their entire treatment process and is able to answer any questions they may have about their procedure. When not at the office, Jennifer enjoys relaxing days on the water and spending time with her family.
